Moolarben coal mine threatens The Drip
While not as high-profile as the Anvil Hill open cut proposal, Moolarben stands to be just as deavastating in its consequences, and, like Anvil Hill, is economically tied to the proposed third Coal Export Terminal that would double coal exports from Newcastle. Take five minutes to write a quick submission against the Moolarben project, which is likely to have dramatic negative impacts on the Goulburn River, and will come up to 250 metres from this Dripping Wall. see the attached letter-writing guide for how to submit, or visit www.savethedrip.com Read the Moolarben dossier on the Rising Tide website.
